Still Moseying Meatlessly Around Singapore

On Day 2 of Meatless March, I am still in Singapore, lah. Tonight I will fly back across the international dateline and arrive in the United States earlier than I left Singapore. Tomorrow I will share my review of United Airlines' vegetarian meal option. I know you are on the edge of your seat.

For lunch today, we at at Crystal Jade La Mian Xiao Long Bao. I ordered La Mian with scallion oil, and some vegetarian dumplings. Both were good, but my friend Becky ordered stewed noodles with chicken, and that was excellent.

I know this because I tried a bite, and I wanted to use this story to highlight a point for those who are dubious about Meatless March: the point is to get into the habit of eating less meat, for the sake of our planet's climate. If you have the occasional bite or meal of meat, that is okay. No one is keeping score. Just keep the big picture in mind!

Hey, you know what doesn't have meat in it? A Singapore Sling. So feel free to have as many of those as you like!
